世界一を決める大会
9月に東京で開始された陸上世界選手権に審判として参加しました。世界選手権は2年に一回開催され、東京での開催は34年ぶりでした。審判活動を通じて、世界から集まったトップアスリートの動きを間近で見たり、雰囲気を感じ取れたのは非常に良い経験でした。国立競技場も連日大賑わいで、陸上競技の大会でこんなに観客が集まるのには驚きました。織田裕二さんの効果は絶大!?でした。

A Deep Breath at the Window to the World
The World Athletics Championships
I participated as a referee at the World Athletics Championships, which commenced in Tokyo in September. The World Championships are held every two years, and this was the first time Tokyo had hosted them in 34 years. Through my refereeing duties, it was an excellent experience to observe the movements of the world's top athletes up close and soak up the atmosphere. The National Stadium was packed every day, and I was amazed at how many spectators gathered for an athletics event. The effect of Yuji Oda was immense!?
