Non-Degree Student

The Course Completion Certificate is intended to grant academic credits to those wishing to take a single or multiple courses in either undergraduate or graduate programs. Successful candidates are carefully considered and granted admission as long as conditions are met for smooth and undisturbed learning.
Upon completion of the corresponding courses with test scores above the cutoff line, students are granted academic credits, which are equivalent and common to all universities and thus can be used to fulfill the requirements for an undergraduate degree or a vocational license certified by authorizing agencies.

Ibaraki University welcomes all applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Working adults who feel in need of knowledge and skills in new subject areas
  • Those who wish to remind themselves of the previously learned knowledge and skills
  • Those who wish to pursue in-depth studies in subject areas that stimulate their interests
  • Those who have graduated from junior college or college of technology and wish to acquire an undergraduate degree
  • Those who wish to complete requirements for a variety of vocational licenses

Application Period

  • First-Half Semester: from March 20 until April 9
  • Second-Half Semester: from September 20 until October 9
