About the tutoring system
To support international students in Ibaraki University to adjust themselves to the student life in Japan, advising staff called "Tutor" is arranged.
It is the system to provide them guidance and advise in both life and academic area in assistance of university instructors and other Japanese students. International students (graduate students, undergraduate students. auditors) are entitled to receive assistance from tutors, Tutors are assigned by the university via recommendations from students supervisors. The service is available for the first two years after enrollment in an undergraduate curriculum and for the first year of the graduate curriculum.
